1. In the calculation of the number of characters or words: with regard to Chinese, Japanese In the calculation of the number of characters or words: with regard to Chinese, Japanese shall be taken as the standard. As for other letter-based languages, the number of words calculated by the computer shall be taken as the standard. Should multiple languages exist in the same document, the number of characters or words of each language shall be calculated separately.
2. Degree of difficulty of specialties: For the documents that the company undertakes to translate, it shall classify them only in categories, irrespective of the degrees of difficulty, and shall charge unified fee for translation.
3. Calculation of graphics: making tables, scanning illustrations and inserting indexes in the same operating system are all free.
4. Free services: One copy is available for fetching and delivering documents, sending registered documents by post, floppy discs, document printing and document binding.
5. Normal speed of translation: 3,000 Chinese characters or 2,000 English words can be translated in a single day.
6. Fees for urgent translation: The fees shall be charged according to normal days for completion of translating the text divided by the number of days the customer requires for completion multiplies the per-unit rate.
7. Collecting translation fees in advance: Should the original text be not the electronic document, the fees for estimated numbers of characters shall be collected. The exact number of characters or words shall be calculated after translation is completed.
8. Matters needing attention: Customers shall read and have a thorough understanding of the "Notice to Customers" before signing the entrustment documents or contracts.

Special Reminders
1. Time calculation: the minimum rate is four hours. The time after four hours shall be calculated at hour, and the time less than one hour shall be calculated as one hour.
2. Text translation: should text translation be needed in the course of service, every 300 characters shall be converted into one hour.
3. Making an appointment: to ensure interpretation quality, please provide background materials of both sides to the maximum extent.
4. Number of interpreters: each interpreter shall serve only one person or offer interpretation service to a dialogue between two persons. Should two or more interpreters be needed for one person, they shall be hired separately.
5. Collecting deposits in advance: deposits of 80 percent of the interpretation fees shall be collected in advance. The exact time of interpretation shall be calculated after service ends.
6. Second language: should the customer require that the interpreter should know a second language, the interpretation fees shall be adjusted depending on what his/her second language is.
Interpretation of Terms
Simultaneous interpretation: taking conference hearings, live broadcasting and news shorthand as the service targets, with the speed approaching the uniform speed.
Impromptu conference: taking teaching lessons, training, conferences, exhibitions, negotiations and discussions as the service targets, with the speed differential almost equaling the uniform time.
Technical accompanying: taking equipment introduction, surveys, investigations and technical exchanges as the service targets, with the speed differential nearly equaling the uniform time.

Notes
1. The costs and time required for re-recording, recording, translation, making captions and dubbing for post-production period shall be added up in calculation.
2. Rates for film added with cartoons, imitated sounds and background music as well as the work involved in relevant editing in the post-production period shall be open to discussion.
3. Upon the distribution of the film, the customer shall acknowledge the services offered by the company by putting the name of the company in the beginning or ending of the film.
4. The minutes as mentioned above shall be the mother film reel's SP broadcasting time, not the actual dialogue or text display time.
5. The film reel offered by the customer shall be regarded as the only original reel in the process of operation, and shall not be altered midway.
6. The minimum time for services in dubbing, recording, copying and system conversion shall be 30 minutes, with the work reel prepared by the customers themselves.
7. The minimum number of words for translation or recording services shall be 1,000 Chinese characters. The minimum for screen captions shall be 100 captions; and in case of translations of the texts in multiple languages, fees shall be collected on each language.
