We all agree that a translation is a reproduction process that can be very complicated and requires detailed professional work. We insist that our employees possess profound language skills and expertise. We have developed a strict system to supervise its accomplishment.
The procedures of hiring and exam translators:
We believe that strictly selecting and examining our translators is a fundamental practice for keep our business alive. After many years of business operation, we have collected a group of individuals with excellent translation talents. All of our translators must pass many exams to become members of YuBo. Some are accomplished scholars who come from different countries. Some possess Master or PhD degrees. It is because of these competent translators that we can stay ahead of the competition. We set the following standards to make sure that we remain industry leaders:
¡¤ Translators must have a very good understanding of the language they translate.
¡¤ Translators are required to have expertise in one field. They have to be formally trained and experienced in that field.
¡¤ Translators must have a minimum of 3 years experience in translating.
Our procedures for translating are:
1. Analyze the project. There is always a senior translator assigned to analyze all of the information that we receive from a client.
2. An expert will assign an appropriate set of translators.
3. Build a list of terminology. A list of key words and terminology are identified and translated. The translators will ensure that all the terminology is uniform and consistent throughout the entire process.
4. Formal translating. To guarantee top quality work, the translators of the project are required to communicate with each other and with the project manager. The project manager is responsible for the entire process.
5. Proof reading. A senior translator will proof read the translation at least twice.
6. Post-production procedure and quality follow up. After the translation is completed, the manager will provide it to the client in a format they require. The manager is also responsible for any feed back from the client. Should the client have any suggestions to improve the translation, the appropriate individual will redo their work until the client is satisfied with the result. Our technicians will be responsible for any post-production work such as editing, printing, saving to disk, formatting, and videotaping.
